Drawing the Line is a contemporary romantic novel set in Tipperary and Venice. When Gerard Hanlon, traditional Irish artis meets Carla from the contemporary art world, opposites attract. An intense affair in Venice ensues. Gerard's wife and daughter find out and he realises that his calm and ordered life back in Ireland is threatened. Carla's erratic behaviour puts the relationship under increasing pressure. As events unfold Gerard sees his life crumbling.
