Drawing the Line is a contemporary romantic novel set in Tipperary and Venice. When Gerard Hanlon, traditional Irish artist meets Carla from the contemporary art world, opposites attract. An intense affair in Venice ensues. Gerard's wife and daughter find out and he realises that his calm and ordered life back in Ireland is threatened. Carla's erratic behaviour puts the relationship under increasing pressure. As events unfold Gerard sees his life crumbling.

Peter Curling is an Irish artist. He is married and lives in Tipperary. He has exhibited at the RHA and the RPPS in London. He has had numerous exhibitions in Dublin and London and his work is included in many private collections. This is his first novel.
