"Casa di Casanova", "Looking Towards San Giorgio", "Chao Bella", "The Fish Market", etc. Venice has long been an inspiration to artists and Peter was immediately attracted to it's unique light, the spectacular architecture, the abstract movement of the water and above all the atmosphere and history of the place. All his paintings are executed "en plein air" and his draughtsmanship comes to the fore in capturing the crowds and the juxtaposition of the buildings in their unique setting.
