LANDSCAPES

"Ballygriffin Bridge", "The Blackwater", "Careysville". The challenge of painting out of doors is always a difficult one but the Irish climate makes it that bit more complicated. Still Peter enjoys the challenge and his feeling for the strong colours and the softness of the Irish landscape is easily seen both in the backgrounds for his hunting and equestrian scenes and in the pure landscapes which he finds a stimulating challenge.
