Peter Curling has done a number of Christmas Cards and prints to help the Sir Peter O'Sullevan Charitable Trust. Sir Peter is tireless in his work to raise public awareness of the cruelty to and mistreatement of horses. He has raised significant amounts to help a number of horse welfare charities.

This year Peter Curling has painted a wintery scene for Sir Peter's Christmas Card. BRAVING THE ELEMENTS shows a scene all too familiar during the very hard winter. Keeping horses going in these conditions is tough work and this painting reminds us of those chilly mornings! Sir Peter was so pleased with the finished painting that he has produced a limited edition print of just fifty copies. These prints will be in huge demand and will sell out quickly.

This year saw the fourth running of the JP McManus Pro-Am Invitiational Golf Classic. As in previous years the event was a huge success and JP did an amazing job in attracting all the leading professional golfers, stars from other sports and many very well known celebrities from cinema and show business.

The two day tournament took place at Adare Manor. The weather was kind and crowds of over forty thousand converged on the course.

Peter Curling's cartoons have become an integral part of the whole event and this time he chose to depict a number of the better know characters in a light hearted mood, using Adare as the backdrop.

JP's work and contribution to charity is amazing and the number of charities which he helps is staggering. Cashel fine Art is delighted to be able to offer copies of this year's print complete with a key for the very reasonable price of €100. All proceeds will go to the JP McManus Pro-Am Charity

In 2005 the J.P. McManus golf classic was held in Adare in County Limerick. It proved to be a hugely popular and successful event. J.P. commissioned Peter to paint a picture to commemorate the event. The painting was auctioned at the celebration dinner in Adare, was top lot of the evening and raised €2,000,000 for charity. Prints of this painting which shows over one hundred and fifty of the people involved in the event are available and are now being sold in aid of the Milford Care Centre, one of the many charities which J.P. supports.
